Now i have read all your guys replies on what is the correct amount of spray for different motor combos. And i see everybody has a variety of opinions. But heres my question for all you expersts out there.I\'m running cast pistons. Will a 125 HP kit work with these or will i start melting pistons. I no nothing about any of this and all i want is a 125 pre set kit to give me alittle boost when needed. I crave the need for speed and my new motor just isn\'t doing it anymore. Nothing wrong with it, it just feels slow to me after awhile and i really hate to loose a race,,,if ya all know what i mean...lol. My buddy wants to race me with his 12 second Dart and i really hate to loose to a mopar, so any help would be helpfull

I think a 125 should be ok if your getting enough fuel in with it...another words make sure its a wet kit and that you have a good high volume fuel pump. I run the Holley Pro Series Black pump which flows 120gph and maintains a constant 9psi line pressure This is not nesisary with the smaller 100-125 shots and lower compression but it cant hurt to buy a little insurance like a Holley Blue pump or if you dont have the money a Holley Red at least. I wouldn\'t reccomend a mechanical pump because i dont believe that they can flow and be as realiable as an electric. Also you have 9.5:1 compression too so that will also make it a little safer.
As long as you get everything hooked up correctly you should be fine.

Yes. But, first time you have problems, chances are they will be done. Detonation, running little lean, etc.

Thats why the first thing i recomended was to get a good fuel pump...and definatly make sure that your timing is set right. And remember if you are going to take the bottle to the street(which i know you are) you will have to have the timing retarted all the time or you will blow yo stuff up for sure.

I window switch will help with the street reliability and an ignition box w/ a timing retard like the BTM will make regular driving fun still because the timing can be retarded with the push of the nitrous button.

u shouldnt have a problem with the cast pistons as long as it dosent go lean like they said i run a 275 shot on mine and i have cast pistons

I\'m gonna try to run my truck at the local track here before the season is up. I\'ll post the time and see which one of you guys is closer...lol ,But i\'ll be happy with a high 13.

your fuel system and ignition need to be upgraded to be safer on the bottle especially with you having cast pistons, retard the timing about 2-4 degrees and go up 1/2- 1.5 lds. on your fuel press. dont get greedy with that unit until you do these upgrades..have fun and be safe...
