A good friend of mine has a 92 2.8L 4x4 S-10 blazer. He just blew up the 2.8L. He\'s been helping me work on my V-8 conversion in my S-10, and he wants to know the differences between mine and doing a 4x4 blazer conversion. Could someone explain the differences of what kind of extra things he will have to do to get a carbureted 350 into his 92 blazer? Only the things that are going to be things that I didn\'t have to do on mine. Thanks.

You sure it\'s 2.8L? It should have a 4.3L by 92 in a Blazer.

oil pan, headers, oil filter relocator... and depending on the transmisson, if he runs a th350 he\'ll need an adaptor plate for the transfercase, if he runs a 700R4 it should bolt up...

don\'t the 4.3 4x4\'s come with a 700r in them. The stock one should bolt up

yea im agreein\' with the dude up top, it should have a 4.3 in it...either way unless its manual transmission it would have a 700r in it...they just have different bellhousing bolt holes. other than that it should work great...the only way to get out of getting a new oil pan it to put a suspension lift on it...thatd\' drop the whole front drive member down which gives you room for a regular oilpan....get the 2.8 conversion mounts from stealth, and put in 2.8 motor mounts.
