View Full Version : manifolds and y-pipe *Fasnur look*

Ok heres my delema.. since Im using an older style frame the front drive shaft run down the passanger side instead of the driver side so what manifold and y-pipe combination can I use for exhaust so that it wont be in the away of the drive shaft? also Id like it if the y-pipe dump way 3\" so that it would be easier to mate with my cat(god that sounds bad) can anyone help me? I need a year and model of a vehicle that came with a setup like this.. Thanks guys!

What type do you have now? I thought you said you used G-Body manifolds now?

well I did but the problem is the pipe exits out on the wrong side since I recently changed frames it doesn\'t work anymore I need a y-pipe that exits out on the drivers side

my plow truck is 87 chev half ton 4x4 with 305 and the y pipe exits on the drivers side. hope that gives ya little help

Probably the one your local exhaust shop is going to make you! http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif Sorry sweety I can\'t think of anything that came out on the drivers side right off. I think maybe some vans or trucks might have,but I cant say for sure. I really hate to say it but it might have to be custom made.
