Has anyone else looked closely at how this is built? In my opion it looks kinda cheaply built. If you look real close to where it contacts the frame where it has been cut off you\'ll see what I mean.

Looks like a blazer frame to me. The way the gas tank is mounted with the filler neck and theres no mounts for the rear of the cab or front of the box? but I could be mistaken. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

nope thats an s10 frame and shoddy work at best I doubt that would hold up and is probably why hes selling the damn thing.

I agree, if you look at the close-up picture of the rear it doesn\'t look like much of it is welded well. Whoever bites at that will have a bit of work...

WHEWWWWWW!!!!!! I just about bought it for the backhalf.I was really was interested in it when it was around $610.00. Atleast i know what to look for now after reading all the comments.

That is a Blazer frame...look at the body mounts. On a truck, the frame should have \'stand\' style mounts for the bed. And there are only 4 mounts, not counting the 2 holes at the very rear of the frame.

If I am waaay off on this let me know.

If you guys are looking for a narrowed rear frame section for your S-10s, check out S & W Race frames. They sell their kits cheap and they are very reliable. The have been building frames for dragcars for years. I personally have one and believe that it was one of the best investments that I have ever made. Later.
