Ok i almost got my engine in. I just have to save up for a cam, and then stick it in. My problem is i dont want to spend any more money on the 305 that i am putting in it now cause i am going to eventualy change to 350. So, i was thinking that i would start to work on traction and suspension. My truck is already lowered 3\" in the rear. I was just wondering what u guys were running and what really works?

Thanks for the help!

personaly I think you should go with your 350 now instead of later because your just waisting your money with the 305

I would probalby have to agree with the icequeen. Put the 350 in now if funds allow.

If not,I\'d put some good shocks and make sure the front suspension is up to snuff.

Make it handle nice and worry traction later. You won\'t be making enough power to worry about traction. At least I didn\'t when I had a 305 in mine and it wasn\'t totally stock.

Good luck in your venture sir!

i\'ve already got a 305, so i\'d be spending more money going to a 350, all i have to do later on is change the long block when i get one built up, this is the cheapest and easiest way for me to do this at the moment.
