Electrical or Mechanical fuel pump?

Should i use the in tank fuel pump that came in my 91 s10 or should i go with a mechanical one? What are the advantages or disadvantages?

really depends on what your going to be running? carbed or EFI if you go EFI you need an electric Intank or out if you go carbed you could keep the intank and use a regulator just fine might actualy improve performance a bit.

I like electric for a couple reasons. Cooler fuel temp and gas in the carb instantly.
