Cash Value of Parts

I posted earler about a T350 tranny and posi rear end out of a 79 firebird for my conversion. The guy who is selling them says thay are in great shape. I think he is asking alot. What do you think this pair is worth? Thanks.

transmissionyou can find for $100 or so the rear-end the most $200. any more than that and i would think you could find something cheaper

i paid $75 for my 350 trans, there $500 new from autozone.

why is he parting this car out again? He probably beat the hell out it, blew the motor and trying to get what he can out of what\'s left of it the tranny could be shot or worn out, unless youre planning to get it rebuilt, which a th350 rebuild is pretty cheap, but i would try to find parts from cars that arent so abused, like an old pickup, or a more grandma type car.
