Has anybody used these headers and will the mounts this site sells work with them? clearance all. I am gonna use a vortec 350.
Thanx in advance. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif
The mounts will work fine, these headers are almost identical to the hedman headers that the mounts are a great match to.

If you could also get sanderson headers at a cheaper price, count me in on that.
I need the 1 3/4\" shorties though.
The CS12\'s non-coated will run $285.95 and the coated ones will run $425.95, we stock the CS12\'s, the coated ones we can have late next week.

holly holes in wallets batman! thats a lot of cha-ching!!! i got my hedman headers for $89 from jegs, then i got them coated at airborne coatings for 100!!! and i hear that the bigger tubed headers loose too much hp to be worth the money, go look at the twister motor that they are building in chevy high performance magazine!!! they stayed with the smaller headers and made more hp and torque, that motor makes something like 500 hp now!

Most performance small blocks use at least 1 5/8\" primaries. I have yet to see any use the 1 1/2\" like yours are. If any power is lost from too big primaries, its usually just alittle low end tq.
Those hedmans are crap compared to the thickness and quality of the Sandersons.
My motor was designed to make max power with 1 3/4\" primaries. And, with my new motor plans, Im gonna need that extra flow.

all i have to say is look at this article on chevy high performance mag..... http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/techarticles/76178/ look at the whole thing, but notice what they say on the \"bending the needle\" section!

Like I said, most use at least 1 5/8\" headers.
They said they make the most \"overall\" power with the 1 5/8\"s. Which, probably ment they lost some tq along the curve with the larger ones.
I should be shooting ofr the 675 hp range with mine. Im not gonna run long tubes for clearance reasons. So Im gonna run the larger primaries. Gotta help that 383 breathe on top end. I know I\'ll make more than enough tq to shred my tires, and probably my 6 speed.
