3 inch body lift is around $80.. they are easy to put on, but it makes your truck kinda look funny...

If you are thinking about a lifted 2wd, Fabtech is the company to use. I\'v used their kits on a couple projects, and had good results. They have been doing 2wd lifts for cars and trucks for over 10 years, they know their stuff.

Depending on what year s10 you have, i\'d recommend 2\" body lift. on SOME years of s10\'s the 3\" body lifts you have to do some crazy mod\'s to the steering shaft.

Also if you are doing V8 conv to the truck the steering and engine mounts will have to be planned to work together, if not your steering shaft will not clear the headers or exhust manifolds. Its all do-able just have to get the right mounts and body lift.

good luck with your project, the lifted 2wd\'s are alot of fun !

side note: I have designed engine mounts for the lifted 2wd s10\'s , the engine mounts work with 2\" body lifts. They are autocad drawn and lazer cut steel parts, they are top quality...and they work. I\'ll make you a deal if you go that route...
