Ive been clicking through the gallery and havent seen any pics of trucks with sidepipes. Has anyone done this? Why arent they more popular?

i think it may be because of the gas tank being on the drivers side...thats about the only thing i can think of because i really wanted to do that too.

Side pipes are so 70\'s! LOL

The main reason you probably don\'t see them is cuz the pipes would hang WAY too low. If you think about it for a minute the frame on the S-10\'s are below the body and you\'d have to run the pipe under the frame. This would only lead to big problems with ground clearance I would think.

I always thought they were cool, but it depends on the style you want to apply to your truck. I don\'t really think side pipes would look good on the setup I\'m using but I\'m sure it would be awesome on a lot of trucks

I have thought about it before, but never had the money. But now that i think about it the whole lowered thing would probably get in the way. I would like to see one though it might look tight.

Ive seen one done on an 89 s10 once the guy ran it through the frame so he had to strengthen the frame and weld in a tube. it looked good but looks more like a car thing to me..

i am sure nobody cares but here in SC i see a lot of wack trucks but i once say a truck with a side pipe coming out of the bed and in to the air like a semi-truck would have. maybe that would be cool j/k

but how about exhaust pipes coming out of the hood like a demolision derby car

by the way i was born in 1984 i guess i\'m not the youngest on this site

i\'m sure no one cares but i saw some crazy things SC like a side pipe on a truck coming out of the bed and into the air like a big rig would have

wait that sounds kinda cool j/k

but what about straight headers coming out the hood like a demolition derby car.

i was born in 1984 i guess i\'m not the youngest on this site

My headers drag on car trailer unloading as really low and big collectors...real pain...thinking of making some exiting through hood or running so a collector sticks out sides through each fender...anyone seen that done? http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif
