How are you 2nd gen guys modding your throttle cables to work with a carb?

I\'m looking at the carb linkages and these throttle studs and going \"hr size=\"1\" color=\"{tablebordercolor}\"rrrm....\"

how did you guys hook yours up?

It used to be a 2.2, so I don\'t know if the throttle cable is different between the 4.3 or not.

i\'m thinking about cutting off the old blob at the end of the cable and run it trough the hole in the throttle stud, then getting some crimp ends(like you have on a mountain bikes brakes) and putting on on each side of the cable through the stud to hold it there.

(I\'m sure my idea makes no sense at all without the visualization)

any pics of what you guys have done?

What engine did you havein your blazer b4 you put in the 350??? Also, what is the length of the c-10 throttle cable, and compared to the s-10 cable??? thanks, ive noticed my throttle is a little stiff because the cable has to make a loop.

I cut mine down to elminate the loop. works pretty good. Throtle response is much better.

I had the 4.3 TBI. I don\'t know the exact lenght on the c-10 cable. I was considerably shorter though. The 4.3 line was looped all up, and didn\'t work for . Theres still a little slack with the other one though.
