need a thorough list of things i need to complete a lt1/6speed swap in my 94 2.2 auto...i know the motor, tranny, computer, master clutch cylinder....what else should be on my grocery list???

I have all the reciepts from when i did mine, shows everything i had to buy out of my pocket, this doesn\'t include things i already had or things i got for free, if i have time i will try and list it up here on the site somewhere. It really depends on what you want in your truck, a/c, power sterring etc..

FYI, 82 carbed engine in mine, no a/c, no power steering.

well...i def want power steering...and i may be able to get the cluthc master cylinder and the clutch/brake setup from the s10 at a decent price. i was looking into this kind of setup with the 6 speed. if i had the money nowi would probably want this one here:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1856771710

if you go with the lt1 you\'ll play with adding wires to the old harnes i heard they have \"painless wiring\" kits for lt1covertions i would think that would help alot -on a carbed engine keep the power wire to the old coil for your dist. if you use hei,starter wires ,alternator wires,other than that most can be trashed

prob missed alot of stuff here. but this gives you a clue of what to expect & then some. this doesn\'t include food for my helpers, drinks or gas money for parts shopping. At one time or another i had added some suff up and was at 2500+ for the truck, and the truck itself was only $100.00.
