Quick one. What\'s the best upper and lower hose to order (from what make/model/year vehicle)? I have a 383ci with a Modine Vette radiator and flex fan. Thanks in advance!

My top hose is from a 73 chevy truck. It may be different than your water neck though. The bottom is a flex hose i picked up at fleet farm..works great and is only about $10 bucks. I used smaller hose on the outlets of the radiator. Then slide the bigger hose over them..sorry can\'t remember the size. Never had a leak yet.

Thanks for the info...so did you use a union inside the smaller hose or glue them etc...?
Anyone else?
See Gallery/FAQ/Cooling section.
Can\'t really give you any specific hoses to order. Ordering hoses is not recommended, too many variations to consider. Best thing to do is buy the flex hoses and run those until you can get to the parts store and size up what you need while you\'re there, or find a buddy that works at a shop and take several home one night and see which ones work.

Thanks Mike...that\'s what I assumed but though maybe there was some that were actually \"made\" for this thing.

The best way not to have any leaks when your hoses are larger than your nipples is get some radai---- hose adaptors, you can get them from Car Quest autoparts, just tell them the size of rad--nipple and water pump nipple and also what size hose u are useing on your s10, I can get you some hose part #s If u email me back, I got a friend who has done some s10 swapping, I allso work for Car Quest I would be glad to get u some adt--#s
