I am a new member of this site and forum.

Just purchased an 85 S10 with a 350 installed.

Its been about 16 years and 4 kids since I last rebuilt a vehicle.

Now I get me chance to start over.

I want to install some headers on this truck.

Any suggestions as to mfgers and model?

Appreciate the help.

it depends on how much you want to spend....hedmen shorite\'s are the by far the cheapeast...and easy to install....you just have to remove the sterring shaft ..to put the drivers side on ...they are like 100.00 from summit...jegs....than there is the hedmen long tubes....and a real pain in the but to put in if the motor is already in the truck....i had to go up from the bottom to get mine on...and the back tubes on each side go on the out side of the frame...so a smaller tire is needed or the tire will hit the tube when you turn...they are 250.00 ....than stahal make a set that are 700.00...they long tubes from from super comp are 350.00++...i really like my shortie\'s...i hope that this helped

Sanderson makes shorties similar to the hedmans.

But much better quality. They have 1 1/2, 1 5/8\'s, and 1 3/4\" primaries for you perfomance needs.

They look incredible jet hot coated too. But, they arent\' cheap, at least compared to the hedmans
