whats the easy and cheapest way to lower the front of my truck...i had a 4cylinder in it before ..but a 350 in it now...i thought it would drop with the extra weight of a v8 but it really did\'t move much more than when it had a 4 cylinder in it.im going to use 2-3 in block in the back..

With a block in the back i would go with some drop spindles, mine is a 3 and 3 drop and sits pretty good just alittle lower in the front than the back. You can usally pick up a set for around $150 bucks and they still retain the front end geometry. If your looking for a quick fix than hack a coil out of the springs. I don\'t recommend it. It takes acouple hours to change spindles but i think its the best way to lower a vehicle.

cheapest and eastiest way would be to change the coils. i put 4 cylinder 3\" drop coils made by chassis tech. i also put 2\" spindles but it sits a little to low. i would just go with the coils. they are about $35 and easier than changing the spindles

mine was a 4 cly and the v8 dropeed it about 3 in i used 2 inch blocks in the back and it sat pretty leavel---also on a friends truck some one had cut the front coils majorly this made the upper control arm go up at an angle the header tube was actually hitting the control arm--look at a normal truck and the header isn\'t very close at all -needless to say we put some new springs in it-i think they were 2in drops and it cleared fine good luck
