I would have to agree with everyone else on this one anything from 2800 to 3200 is a great spot to hit it.

it is safest to hit the nitrous at 3000rpm,due to a few inexperienced people it has become the standard.the more familliar you get with your product of choice you will find an extra tenth or two by launching all out and as soon as your foot hits the floor hit the unit, reason for this is you know your butterflies are fully open.most people cant spray out of the hole due to road surface or tire type please be carefull i have many years of nitrous experience(R.I.P.JOHN STEWART) he was definately one of the pioneers to the automotive n2o scene.he was the founder of ICE,LAZAR,MAGNUM PLUS,TOP GUN& NITROUS EXPRESS by far the best nitrous systems ever offered not just my opinion but track and STREET tested.............. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

if you have a stall converterthat will go anywhere around 3000 ,you should hit it at launch.the best way is with a micro switch on the throttle, but the drawback is you have to let out if have have to get out of the nitrous.

I have found that if you spray it before 1-2 shift, it will stay hooked better than waiting to 2nd gear.also on slicks, the harder you hit the tires(more nitrous), the better they hook.doesn\'t sound right, but a truck that won\'t hook on motor may hook on spray. Also I don\'t think you will hurt anything at 150 jets or less anyway as long as you pull timing out and pay attension to fuel pressure.

also if you have a transbrake you can use a relay to make it spray as soon as the brake button is released. this is usually good for a .10th.
