i was gonna buy some of them belltech rear drop leafs, but wasnt sure if these would be any good for racing. i have 2 inch drop spindles in the front and was tring to figure out what the best way to even out the truck would be without comprimising traction. i plan to run lakewood traction bars until i have money to put in a 4 link.(a long time from now). should i be fine with the drop leafs or go another route?
i dont want to use drop blocks.

high speed was never a problem with mine. I was running 130 with my 5 speed and mine. Handled great.
On hard launches, I was getting some axle wrap. Traction bars took care of that. And those were the $30 Lakewood slapper bar specials.
Dropped leaves are your best, cheapest bet for lowering with some good power.
Coilovers would be best, but thats not gonna be cheap. I\'ve never had good luck with blocks, and its hard running traction bars with dropped blocks.

Thats my experience with them. Yenko\'s got a set on his standard cab, with slapper bars too. And his motors pushing 430-450 hp. He said he hasn\'t had any problems with his.
