my truck is a s10 tahoe...is there a difference in that and a regular s10 truck...when i put the v8 in my truck the front went down maybe a 1/2in if that..im serious...whats the heck...i see on here that some people say that there v8 motor went down 3in ..im going to lower it any way ..but i just want to make sure it dont go to low...im putting a 3in block in the rear ...so what sould i do up front...do i use a 3in drop for a 4cylindr (my truck was 4 banger)or do i use a 6 cylinder drop kit... http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

I\'d get the 4.3 drop coils for the front just to help with handling.

it all depends.. my truck had the 2.8 and probably went down.. maybe an inch. Aluminum heads, water pump, intake, radiator.. all those things help lighten up the front. If your putting a V8 into a truck that had a 4 banger that truck is gunna DROP probably a good 2.5\" or more, also if the truck has A/C.. if you\'ve ever had to purchase aftermarket shocks they will always ask if you have A/C. Obviously the springs for an A/C truck will be stiffer. The 4.3 drop springs sound like a an excellent idea.

spindles are very nice. If you got the cash buy them. They retain the standard front end geomety. springs work ok. But i love the corners so spindles are my choice. I have a 3 and 3 drop, with the V8 in the front is about an inch lower than the back, before the drop it was even...and i thought looked stupid as hell..but sits perfect now. Not to low and not to high. Remember springs will sag after awhile, some people\'s trucks may drop 3 inches because there springs are soft from a hard life. if your truck is well taken care of then it shouldn\'t drop that much. I think the tahoe option was just an interior package, and had nothing to do with suspension. I could be wrong though. Hey maybe somebody put stiffer springs in it sometime in its life. But i think with a 3 and 3 drop you\'ll be happy.

3and 3 un...sounds good to me...my truck had a-c on it...i got the truck in 1994 and it;s a 1992 truck im only the 2nd owner of it and i took really good care of it ...when i put the motor in the front just did\'t move no more than a 1/2-1 in and thats all..the truck rides like a factory truck.....but it looks a little dumb.I have a nice set of rims on it with a nice scoop and it really hits hard.....you can see my long tube headers from the side...threw the fender well...i just want it to look better at a stance...it\'s a 2 wheel drive thats sits of high as a 4wheel drive...but is\'t not .........so blocks are the way to go for the back and spindels for the front...what about the front springs ...do i use them or get new ones...do i leave the back springs in when i put the block in place...thanks for the info guy\'s i knew i could count on you all http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

Reuse your stockers, unless you want to go lower. I wouldn\'t pull any of your leafs out when you put the blocks in. I have bad axle wrap with all of mine still on there.

yeah i would go with the spindles over the springs cause they give you a better ride and with the 3 inch blocks in the rear it will give you a raked look..

get control arms our spindles... very sweet... control arms will help a lot with handling too becasuse of the stiffer suspension... very sweet
