california carbs

Have an 85 S10 Blazer with a 17085350 carb, it is spitting gas all over the carb even after the rebuild kit. So i found one out in California for $100 but the #s are different, 17084368 is the new number, so far all i can tell the difference is, it is on a California car. Anyone have experience and know what i am going to need to do when the new one arrives?

probably just extra setup on it for emissions but I cant verify that do you have both of them? just check to see any va* differences if there is no physuicaly looking differences it could just be a different manufacturering year or maybe it has reduced CFM or something.. not very helpful I know but gives you a couple of places to look.
