I was looking at the conversion kit we offer here. I am able to get my hands on a 95 s10 for $500. the engine is bad and so is the tranny. but i was wondering if I would need the new headers? also is the motor mounts that come with the kit, are they a replacement for the 4 cyl mounts. the book that tells you how to do it, dose it cover this year? thanks

Both the 2.8 frame mounts and the conversion mounts work great. I have a 95 s10 tht had the 2.2 and there were holes that were already tapped for the v6 mounts. Everything with the mounts bolt up. As for the headers, I am using the caprice manifolds, if you try the headers let us know how the work with the new body style. I am not to happy with the manifolds since the drivers side manifold ends almost right on top of the crossmember and points straight down. Exhaust routing for the caprice manifolds seems restrictive. Hope this help I will be posting some pics as soon as I get finished
