Does any one have any info on retro-fitting a front anti-roll bar. Were any fitted as standard. (Not to be confused with a roll over bar)

most s10\'s came with front bars..i don\'t know the size off hand but i want to say 7/8 diameter bar. When i bought mine it didn\'t have one so i put one on from a 86 firebird,,it had to be narrowed a total of 6 inches though. You should be able to get one from a junkyard fairly cheap or there are many aftermarket ones available.

Thanks for the info, looked under the front of my truck but couldn\'t see any anchor points on the chassis, did you have to fabricate any plates to fix the bushings and clamps to, found the fixing points on the lower control arms now all i\'ve got to do is find the bars (not so easy)

I have suspension Techniques front and rear sway bars on my truck. The front mount to the existing holes in the chassis, I just had to tap them. The bars are really hefty and make the truck handle great.
You can see them in a couple of the pics on my website.

4x4 anti-roll bars are different, the ones to find are the 1-1/8 bars off a 2wd blazer, and yes it will bolt right up to the frame and A-arms. There should be 4 holes on the bottom of the frame (2 on each side) that are threaded (you may have to clean them out) and a hole on each lower A-arm that the bushings go on http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

Those are ok. I have one stock on my blazer. I wanna upgrade mine to the thicker Suspension Techniques. I saw them at Summit, and they look awesome. I hear adding a rear bar is like night/day too. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif
