steve and i took out the big block s10 today HOLY CRAP that thing is fast once it stops spinning the tires it pulls hard he stayed in it through all 3 gears we were flying (closed course profesional driver ,of course)

if surprised me i cant wait to run it at the track to see just how fast it is for a daily driver. i sent some new pics in the completed gallery. check them out

Does it handle like crap? How about braking? I asked the same question on the pic but you only have to answer once... You\'ve got me thinking really hard about this swap. My major concern was being able to get it slowed down once I got it going nice and fast. Thanks.

Hello 4more, I have a big block in my pro street truck that I built headers for(still don\'t have it road worthy yet). What I was wondering is if you get me the part numbers or what kind of (chevy ) the manifolds came off of. I have a 86 with a small block that is my beater and would love to stuff a big block in it but, don\'t want to have to build another set of headers. Any help would be app. Thanks Bob

he didnt let me drive it yet http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_frown.gif but he said is not any different than the small blocks he has owned. im sure once the skinny tires get put on the front he might feel some more push but it stops good and turns some what easy with a manual steering box

im not for sure what the manifolds came from i can get you closer pics of them though the drivers side wasnt to bad the pass. side the firewall was knotched and boxed it about a 3inx3in section for cleanance and the control arm was \"modified\"

all seems to be ok and it rocks

Does the driver\'s side look anything like this one? <hr width='200'><img src='images/jpg.gif'>: <a href="http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/show_image.pl?image=member_img_a/211000-211999%2F211193_23_full.jpg" BORDER="0" target=_blank><font size="-2">image will open in new window</font></a><hr width='200'>

This is out of a suburban and they hug the block as much as one could.

i now have my 427in place...it;s near completed...i thought that a 427 big block would be hard to do...but it\'s easy...also the front did\'t drop no more than it did with a 350...so i guess i will lower it a bit ..maybe a 3 front and 4 back...or vise versa....
