Well i added the Summit Buckets for around $60 a seat with covers, and added some foam padding under the seat cover to make it a little more comfortable. Actually they are more comfortable than i thought they would be. But i would recomend buying the brackets that go with them cause its a Biaaatch to get them in there straight and firmly with out them....trust me!

I just spent most of today putting buckets in my truck. I got some Recaros out of a VW, comfy as hell, but a real pain in the ass to put in. Had to make my own mounts. So having a welder would probaly be a wise idea.

I just finished taking the bench out of mine I gutted a black interiored blazer I took the mounts off the floor and welded them in.

I thought it went easier than I thought it would also put the console in, my new seats sit lower than any other s truck with buckets because the blazer brackets are shorter than a cab brackets the floors are shaped different.

I like the height though

Good deal.....Did you have any problems with the humps in the floor?

No the humps were fine, they sit I\'m guessing 3/4 to 1\" lower My only problem was battling with the seat belt being so close to the seat being lower.

I d put them in but I havn\'t found a cage I want to put in, I may be asking to much but I would like it to be in the cab only ( well through the floor of course ) and not through the back of the cab .

I have an \'89 S-15 that I took the banch out of and put in seats from a Pontiac Sunfire. I gave $50 for both seats at a salvage here in OKC and then went to Pull-A-Part and got the seat brackets out of an 85 Blazer for $10.00. The two outer ones bolted right in and I had to line up the inners and drill new holes in the floor (I\'d recomend removing the carpet). It was a very easy swap and so far has been the best $60.00 I have spent on the truck. I have some pics of it here: ecm.nac.net/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=albun63 (http://ecm.nac.net/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=albun63) If the link doesn\'t work you can copy and paste it. The page is kinda slow so be patient.

I put a 85 Jimmy interior in my 82 and had to drill the 2 inner bolt holes in the floorboard.

Heres a picture (http://www.etrey.com/albums/album04/1_G.jpg)

I just took two bucket seats out of an early 90\'s mitsubishi mirage. I had to drill new holes, but they fit perfect, and they\'re totally adjustable. Plus they\'re damn comfortable.

good luck.

in my 83 longox s10, i used buckets out of an 89 blazer, they fit right in with no modifications.

i used buckets from an 80s corvette and they were a pain to mount i had to build my own brackets and drill four holes for each seat
