Buddy of mine has a SLP posi for a 93-2000 camaro. i know it has a different number of splines but can i buy new ones like moser and get it to work??? http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

You will need to have it narrowed so you will need to buy axels anyway.

the slp rears are supposed to be dana 44\'s if it is a 44 narrow it and use it they hold up to low 9 second passes from what i have seen

its for s 7.5 housing

Oh ok, so your putting the posi in your 7.5 housing....Now i see. Ya i would buy axels from strange or moser for it.

How do you plan on strengthening the rest on the tird member? After you put in that posi there is agood chance you\'ll twist off a tube or crack the carrier.

You sure your 91 doesn\'t have 28 spline axles already? I think they switched the trucks to 28 spline in 90.

Should fit. The zexel take out\'s fit right into s-series, this should too. Why not just pull off your cover and see?

my 88 blazer has 28-spline axles factory and 3:42 gears.i also heard that the extra cabs and blazers came that way and some of the std cabs had the 26-spline axles but cant confirm that.......

if you look at listings in catalogs for axles, they list 82-88 26 spline and 88-02 28 spline. HTH
