Ok i started my truck up today after work and did it run like crap, i went for a ride and the thing missed like a bitch!!! I got home and pulled out number 1 plug and it was black, there only 2 weeks old!!! The chock was open and everything, jets shouldn\'t be to big, because it ran great before. What are you guys running for plugs? Mine are AC Delco R45T\'s Anybody enconter anything similar? And i went down on jets...72\'s now, maybe i\'ll try 71\'s and see what happens.

if its just the one plug it not your carb or the plug it self may have a valve guide prob or valve it self

You are using the right plugs. You could use 44\'s but they are colder and will foul quicker if there is a problem. Are you sure the plugs are fuel fouled? Or maybe oil fouled? I have had problems with valve seals causing oil fouling. Did you check all 8 plugs? Are they all the same? A rich condition will foul all of them.

What he said....My old 350 had crappy heads and fouled plugs like crazy...fuel and oil. Changed the plugs at the track one day and picked up 8 tenth\'s. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif Thats how bad the guides and seals were in those heads

Are you sure it\'s not rich at idle. I fouled plugs while idleing and I got the blades adjusted a little for the transfer slot. I wish I knew more adout carbs, but it seems all the old timers are retiring and taking their knowledge with them.

Fixed it...new plugs, and went down to 71 jets. adjusted the idle screws and the thing runs good now. Still alittle black at idle but i think i\'ll be fine.

Well guys I have a testamonial to the fact that bohn333\'s truck hauls @$$. I rode in it last night and it goes. Makes me feel bad \'cause its way faster than my Blazer and he has less money in it than I have in just my new rear end.
