well, my lt1 project just got slammed into hold...my tranny just went and my parents want me to wait on the lt1 until my warranty is up on my motor now too and concentrate on saving money for school. oh well, i just have to deal with my 2.2 for another 17,000 miles and get the tranny rebuilt. i know it seems done, but if it will please my parents enough that they will let me save up for a lt1 then so be it. i will still be posting on here asking questions though so hopefully i can start getting the necessary things i need to get started on this beast. you guys are really helpful and this is a great site. later

Can you share some details with us on your setup? I\'m assuming the stroker in your sig is the old engine setup. What info do you have on that one? Any Hp/Tq, track times? And if that is your old setup, what are the specs/parts/setup you will be using new?

The only difference in the old one and the new one is the cam....was hyd <a href=\"mailto:.246dur@.50\" target=\"_new\">.246dur@.50</a> .509/.509 lift....Now is Roller .253/.261dur@.50 .598/.625@.50 lift



Intake was portred to match the heads, which have the 200cc runners, Intake valves were opened up to 2.055 and the exhaust to 1.65.



All forged internals, 11.0:1(was 10.5) short filled block. Stud girdles, roller springs for up to .680 lift



Should make around 425h/475+tq on motor.....and 625/700lbft on the spray.(200shot)



E/T\'s deep 12\'s/high 11\'s on motor..and 11.0 or better on the spray

And another thing my brother has a 83 chevy 1/2 ton swb that ran 13.50 on a 377 with sportman 2 heads(2.02 1.60 72cc), a comp .555/.555 cam, victor junior, 750cfm holley,1.7 roller rockers, flat top pistons,no nos,k&n air filter. It dynoed out at the flywheel with 498hp 438tr. And he is going to put in a 79 malibu and put a roller cam .630/.630. That ought run low11s/high 10s?
