today i seen a v8 ranger in person...they fit really good...this one had ..a/c..cruise control...ps...and it was a 4-wheel drive...un...put a mustang 5.0 in one and it may run pretty hard...any one ever run one ...
there\'s a video of a ranger in the Video: jaxraceway section of the gallery, it has nitros, not sure if it had a v8 too, ran a 8.3 in the 8th

i have never raced on a 1/8 mile track...please tell me ..how fast is a 8.30...heck a 1/8 is\'t far enough to even get to 3 gear...lol..

There are a couple at the local drags Friday nights here in Orlando. Most that Ive seen had quarters in the 13\'s.

Depends. Smallblock Chevy\'s have more meat to work with, but those 5.0\'s can be built to make massive power. I think they\'d be pretty close but in the end it\'s whoever put more into their engine and setup. In an equal situation, the edge would probably go to the S10 since we have more meat to work with and stock for stock 350\'s make more power.
You can make anything fast depending on how much money you spend

8.3 is about 13 to 15\'s in 1/4. my full size ext cab runs 8\'s in an 1/8.

its all about money... but the 5.0 and the 350 are the most common/ easiest to find parts for cause they are so popular. imo
