I am only 15 and I am wondering how much my 92 short bed s10 would weigh? Are they hard to hook up? I am going put a v8 in mine and make strictly strip. Thanx.

Your truck Should weigh about 2900lbs give or take a little. And they aren\'t that hard to make hook up if you buy the right parts. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

Theres a lot of stuff you can do to shed weight since its only gonna be a strip truck.

With me and a full tank gas mine weighs in at 3260. I\'m 260 and I have the cab completely dinamated. The gas and dinamat both weigh quite alot. Not hard to do the math.

Should be around 2900 easy.

I have a club cab, how much motre do they weight over the reg. cab. I know my old 84 355 Reg cab felt a lot lighter.

Thanks, Brian

My guess would be about 3000lbs. I have never had anything to do with the long bed or the clubcabs, i just dont like they\'re appearance.

gut the dash, buy aluminum heads , cut the skid plate off and 2540 pounds is what it should weigh without you.
