Started disassembly

I started taking apart the front end of my 91 gmc sonoma yesterday. Almost every single one of those clips that the bolts bolt into holding the radiator core support broke. Because in michigan, 12 year old vehicles tend not to be all too clean, even if the body looks good. I was wondering if you guys that took apart your front end went and bought a bunch of new clips, or just bought some lock washers and nuts?

i had a few that broke but i had backups sitting there

I never had the problem simply due to the fact that my truck is a 2000 so it wasn\'t old enough that and I used a good penetrating oil a day before i started I sued it on every bolt I had to removed stuff works great!
