A stock 4.3 radiator works just as well as the vette radiator. I used both, and my stock 4.3 radiator with 104K miles worked better than the new vette one. Doing the swap dropped me 7-10 degrees, and allowed me to use a dual electric fan set up from flexolite, since the 4.3 is just a little bit bigger than the vette

my blazer has the original 4.3 radiator in it and it stays nice and safe at the hi side of 220 in traffic w/air conditioning in the vegas heat on the freeway it goes down to 185 degrees.i converted my friends 4x4 to a 350 700r4 his uses the vette radiator no a/c his truck stays at 230 in traffic goes down to 210 on the freeway http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_mad.gif http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_frown.gif so we will be changing it to a 4.3 rad.also i dont like the fact that the vette radiator does not have the nipple for the heater core hose.lots of people have good luck with both radiators,i think they both weigh the same, not sure..
