I ran 3/8\" aluminum fuel line from my fuel cell to my stock steel lines under my cab. I used aluminum -AN fittings on everything and they all are leaking. I used a flare tool to flare all the ends that I had to, and tightened all the fittings tight. When I powered up my fuel pump to check if any would drip. They all leaked like crazy. Do I need to wrap the threads?

Motorwise I\'m going to run my 2.5 until the fall when the TPI goes in. I know that the throttle body injection needs only a little pressure to run, but the TPI setup will need a lot more. What do I need to do? http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_frown.gif null

There are two different angles to flare tubing. One is JIC and the other is AN. Make sure you have the right angle flaring tool.

After reading your replys, I called around and found out that I need a 37* flaring tool. I used a standard 45*. I\'m going to reflare my line and see how she does. Thanks fellas. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif
