new best

I did a new best last night. 13.91 at 101mph on regular street tires and thats with a 2.35 sixty foot time. I tried some slicks from my buddy but couldn\'t get traction even with them, the track was just crap. I did 3 runs with the slicks and the best was 13.87 at 100mph with a 2.29 60ft time, everybody was spinning though. i did a total of 7 runs and won five lost two. First lost was to a C5 that ran a 13.69 at 104..second was to a 99 Z28 with a blower on it and he ran a 13.2 at 114mph. I beat every ricer i went up against... I\'m lucky though some surprised the hell out of me.



As soon as i can figure out how to hook up and fix my current problem..bottom end knock. i should be a low 13 real easy.

Not bad! I run the same ET with 2.4-2.6 60ft and 170ish shot of nitrous on street tires and at 102mph.

my truck is a 87 longbed stock syspension but lowered 4 inches I was at the track sat and my truck ran 11.98 at 114.89 60ft was 1.77 1/8 was 7.80 at 90.58 miles on mickey thompson 28 12.5 15 et streets with 10 psi and 180 pounds of sand bags in the bed.

the motor is a 406 11.1 motor with a 350 turbo and 2800 stall and 4.10 gear.

mine went 13.42@98mph.. with a 1.98 60ft...but i had 2 pug wire\'s off...than my starter broke...the timming is set by ear...it will be ready the right way next time...i have 28x10.2 slick\'s on mine ..and it never spun a bit...

mine went 12.18 @117 with no belts, flung them off. my 60\'s were bad b/c I had problems with my converter...2.11. i think i got it all fixed and ready to make a good pass.
