Fuel Pump Question

Hey, people....I have a question for you - I swapped a LT1 into my \'96 that had a 2.2 in it.

I know the I have the change the fuel pump from the old one to one with more volume & was planning on using a \'96 Caprice pump. Just wondering if the whole sending unit would work cause i know the two units a different in design. Any & all feedback would be appreciated.

you more then likely have the float bucket for your gas tank changing the pump is a real pain but not impossible and a 1996 c1500 pickup pump will drop right in and give you the neccessary fuel flow to run upto a 7.4L EFI engine I dont know if its the same pump as the caprice runs but it will fit in the pucket with a littlke work your other optiuon is to buy the hole sending unit and switch over your fuel level sender to the new unit.
