AC Unit cross refference

My sons 97 4cyl S-10 AC compressor is bad. Does anybody know if any other car or truck compressors will fit or do I have to get one for that truck? GM use to use the same compressor for all, back in the good old days...

any chev truck ac compressor should work there are only a couple of types from 91 and up so as long as the bolt pattern is the same it\'ll bolt right up.
