engine will idle fine but it will not rev. If you feather it quickly you can get the rpms up but if you just hold it wide open it will cut out right away. I plan on changed the stock 94.4.3 fuel pump. I dont have a guage to test the pressure, What else could it be? I appreciate any help. Thanks alot

was the stock pump for tbi? if so that is your problem. tbi is about 13psi, lt1 needs about 45psi. change the pump

yes it was 4.3 tbi, i wasnt sure if the fuel pump could actually pump 45psi, i thought the regulator controlled whether the engine got 15 or 45 psi or whatever, ill change it for sure this weekend if i get my truck back from the muffler shop, its almost done, if anyone thinks it could be a different problem other than the fuel pump let me know

swap in a 96 c1500 fuel pump mto run your motor.

anyone have a suggestion for a throttle cable. 94 4.3 TBi was stock. 94 camaro Lt1 is new engine.

Give the 2.8L cable a try. I *think* it\'s a direct fit

the 98 chev c1500 cable may work if you want length if not the 2.8L cable should work fine.

I am having pretty much the same problem the truck idles fine but as soon as i go to put it in gear sometimes it stalls and other times it doesnt then when i come to a stop sign it will stall and it is hesitating real bad from a stop if i get on the gas real hard it stalls i have to feather it lightly to get it to go. what could the problem be?
