Here\'s the deal. Ihave a \'92 Chev S10 4x4 with the 4.3L vin Z engine. What I wanna do is swap in a V8, most likely a mildly built 327. But, I wanna keep the fuel injection. I\'ve already figured out that I can basically keep all the original sensors, grab a pc out of a same year full-size V8 pickup. My main questions is whether or not I can reuse the factory engine mounts. Or if I\'ll have to fabricate new mount spots. What\'cha think? What kinda problems might I run into? Thanks in advance.

exhaust maifold from a mid 80\'s camaro/firbird are supose to work you can get 2wd shorty headers for less than $150.i had down pipes made then mount them bolt to gether remove from truck weld and then you don\'t worry about collecter gaskets leaking check jegs .com also use a pusher fan in front of the radiator my waterpump pully was 1 in or so from the rad. so i used a pusher fan 180 all day long

just the one electric fan 14 inch infront of the rad. a 3 core from a 77 3/4 ton chevy truck auto-zone replacement $115. and a 180 thermostat it seems like alot of guys make converting these trucks harder than it is pictures of this truck are on this site

I have a 16 in. pusher fan in my isuzu and a 180 degree thermostat and it runs about 170-180 all day long. For a radiator I have an aluminum one out of a 99 model chevrolet caprice police car. I only have about an inch between my water pump pulley and radiator and im running short water pump. Well theres my $.02
