motor mounts again?

i thought i had all this figured out! i bought mounts from s10 v8 parts the one affiliated with this site, are u tellin me i need to buy 2.8 mounts also or what i already bought is ok?

did you buy the motor mounts or the motor mount adapters? You will need both the adapters and 2.8 motor mounts to do the installation. The 2.8 motor mount connects to the frame.The adapter connects the engine to the 2.8 mount.If i can find a close up picture, i will send a link...Jay

that is if you had anything other than the factory 2.8 to start with. 2.8 and 4.3 factory mounts must be replaced with the 2.8 mounts

so i have the adapter that bolts to the engine, so i need the rubber mount from a 2.8 v6 and do i also need the mount that mounts to the frame or can i use the same mount that mounts to the frame from my 94 2.2???

really do some research on this site. You are asking the same questions alot of people have asked. Just do some searching and you get all the answers you need.

what you have should mount to the 2.8 frame side mount the 2.8 engine side mount isn\'t needed unless the adapter is nothiung more then a flat piece of metal.
