my dad\'s got a new silverado SS and i want the motor out of it, really bad. Does anyone know where you can order one of these engines? it\'s probably a long shot

u mean a 6 liter?



u r gonna need some serious wiring work, and the tranny that goes with it, those newer vortecs have a different bellhousing pattern to. Then u gotta get into the fuel delevery and computer stuff... IMO it is not a good idea.



Just build up a carb.

Those motors are very similar to the Ls1/LS6 design. Which, both motors are a pita to install.



If you were going to go that route, I\'d get a LS1 or the LS6 motor crate motor.

you can get 400+ Hp outta of a GM goodwrench engine for under $2500 including the engine price



whats an Ls6 cost ya.....$6k for 405hp
