Four months ago about, I bought a 82 van that has a 350 GM creat engine. Before i bought it i check the block numbers to be on safe side i was told it had less 30,000 miles on it. I only paid $400 for it. I junked it out because the transmission went out, I only reason i bought the van was for the engine for my next S-10 project that i hope to start next summer. I was told it was a 4 bolt but the casting numbers on mortec said it was both 2 or 4 bolt. I also junked it out where i work at as long i kept the engine.
What i want to know is i want to rebuild it and give it more power. I am thinking about making it fuel injected, and i want to give it some after market heads. So if has any ideaa let me know.
I plan on rebuilding the block myself at school since i am going to take Automotive class at a local college. By the time comes i should have the money to buy what i need.
