Tire size?

Ok all am wondering what is the largest tire I can buy and still fit under the fenderwell? Including rim backspacing so i can pick up a set of welds and tires for my truck. I have now 245/60/16\'s under there now and looking fro about the same but seems I can go a bit furthewr in to a larger tire. Want to keep around a 26\" tall tire. The truck is also lowered 3\"in the rear via blocks and 2\" drops in thefront.

you may want to double check your present tire size again the 245/50-16 is 26.1\" so your 245/60/16 ???????? the 245/50-16 is stock on z28\'s.....this tire is nice,and looks sweet on lowered s10\'s http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

What size wheels? A 295/50R15 fits but are you staying with 16\"ers?

I would like to go to a 15\" rim and get the largest meats under there that i can and try to stay up around 26\" tall. But I have to remember they have to fit in the well the truck is lowered 3\" in the rear. And pick up like a 5 or 6\" rim for the fronts.

you can get a 15x8 1/2 rim from weld and use a 275-50-15 and clear fender well,its got a 41/2\" backspacing..i tried the eagles off of my trans am they were 17x9.5 w/275-40-17 and they fit tight w/5.25 backspacing,they rubbed on big bumps oh well it sat pretty for a day...
