has anyone really had any experience with the header wrap I was thinking about trying it and seeing if my truck ran cooler because I know mad heat comes off of those headers.

DON\'T DO IT. I had wrap on my headers it acually ran a little warmer under the hood. Also it makes the header rust quicker and it soaks up anything that gets on it. (ie oil, antifreeze) I tore that stuff off recently and I am much happier.

DONT USE header wrap it traps the heat in the header and destoys the piping if you spill oil,gas etc you cant wipe it up it will eventually catch on fire..... http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif you can put it around your starter other than that no way not my ride......

Not only that but it looks like crap. And like they said, it will make your headers fall apart from the inside out.
