mounts not lining up

ok - I\'ve finaly started the project.I have an 89 s-1o came with 4.3 and 4spd quto. I am bolting small block to original trans, motor mounts are about 3\" too far forward, JTR and no one else has told me about tihis. every one just says \"bolt it in\". Can anyone help me out?

what mounts are u using? did you buy the stealth adapter plates?

right now using stock mounts, where do I get stealth adapter plate?
