anybody changed rear end in a 87 blazer was 2.8 a.t. now 350 350 turbo geared a little for interstate driving need to know what bolts in easily

I have a ford 8.8 rear with disc out of a 98 explorer posi 4.10 gears just weld the ears for the lower shock mounts and adapter for brake fittings. works foe me.

Check your RPO codes and see what you have. You might get one with a 3.08 or so gear. It will rob your bottom end power, but I think that you could just get an overdrive tranny. That is the best solution. I know how you feel. I have a Th350, but just \'casue of 373 gears and 1:1 3rd gear it drinks gas. 12 per gallon.
