ok had 350 in for about 6 months or so went to track thurs nite ran a 10.61 was not happy it sucks my 4.3 would do high 12s so my question is do i do a set of heads or just start over thought about a 383 or a 400 just dont know what to do any help you guys can offer would be great i guess i\'m like all of you i have the need for speed

are u talking about in the 1/8th or 1/4 mile cause 10\'s in the 1/4 is fast and ppl can only dream of being there

Ok before you go doing another swap... slow down and look at things. What kind of heads are you using? What kind of cam are you using? Howbout intake and fuel? I don\'t see any point in swapping in a 383 or 400 when you can build a 350 to be just as powerful. Trust me a 350 can make plenty of power for your needs, you just have to set it up right.

ok ran up on a deal here on a 406 sb all new will post more spec later but can pass it up guy needs money and i will give it to him when i can get the 406 for about what a good set of heads would be so looks like 406 sb is going in ole blue thanks guys and yes its 1/8 all we have here in this god forsaken place.. oh yea anyone need a 350 with 1500 miles on it let me know thanks again
