I am currently converting my S-10 to full drag. I am trying to find all my options for a backhalf. S&W sells a frame kit for the S-10. I was wondering if anyone has done this upgrade already or has some good tips as far as vendors and suspension type. I like a 4 link but I have 3 buddies that all run ladder bars. I am not sure what would be better. Does anyone know the pro\'s and cons?

Ladder bars are cheaper and easier to install. With ladder bars you put em in and go. A four-link is like an adjustable ladder bar set-up. You can reposition the links to give you some tuning options. For instance you can adjust a four link to fix a problem getting loose at the end of the track, or you can make it really tight to hook up like crazy off the line - it\'s all different degrees of weight transfer.

A ladder bar suspension is great for the street because you don\'t have to mess with it, but you can\'t beat a four-link for adjustability on the track.
