What did you guys do about your cable? Mines too long and after I route it with a sharp turn it works hard. Do they make a shorter one? I had a 2.8L in a 92. TIA

i just went to the parts store and got one for a 90\'s fullsize truck, works great, take your old one in and get one shorter with the same connections, mine works great.

I used to break the stock one all the time...And trust me you dont wanna break it when your 45 miles from home and its 1 am....But anyway, i did just like mike said, i went to the junk yard and got one off an early model full size chevy. I only did this cause the connections looked the same and i needed one cause the speaker cable we rigged up was bearly holding. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif But it has never broke or bound up on me.

i used one from a mid 70s camaro it fit geat but only gave me 1/2 throttle so inside the truck i used fishline weights to hold the cable in more so i got full throttle

Does the 4.3 have th throttle linkage on the driver\'s side like my carb does...if this is the case I would think that would work good. That\'s the problem, the 2.8 had the linkage on the pass side and now with the carb....
