pulling from the inside but today i went to the scrap yard and got a 16 inch one out of a volvo pusher as well i will try that and cut the center out of the thermostat, see if that works i looked at the taurus one but since my engine is all the way forward even though the raiator is in the support i only have like 3\" to play with not a whole lot and because it\'s only 24\" inside the radiator no room for two fans unless i go with the 10\" even together thats not alot of cfm, it looks like this fan has a dual speed????3 wires... thanks for the reply i\'v searched all the past posts and still am without any help..
mine is a 16 inch 5 blade from a 1987 Pontiac Bonneville, all the blades are connected by a outer ring, very strong, also has a built in shroud, all this together equals a great cooling fan.

what kind of cooling setup do you have? with the shroud you have room i only have like 3 1/2\" or so before my pulley the engine is all the way forward and so is the radiator.
look in the gallery under faq and you can see the setup

screw it all! since it is impossible to make the volvo/taurus fan fit i have put back the engine driven flex fan i might though put one fan on the front since it heats up in traffic....

what u mite wanna do is take the fans from an acura integra i have them on mine they r slim and pull mad air and i also drilled 4 1/8 inch holes in the thermostat thaty allows cooling before the stat opens so ur motor will stay cooler for a longer time

try running a higher thrermostat, like a 195. I run a modine with a 14\'\' flex fan and a home made shroud and it never goes over 210. even in traffic.
