I\'m thinking of swapping out my Hooker long tubes for a set of Sanderson shorties. Fannon is running low 11\'s and I\'ve seen other running low numbers with these and I want to put real tires on the front of my Blazer again. I used to run P235/60R15 all the way around and it looked sweet. What do you guys think?
Pros and cons???

Pro\'s:
Good quality
No leaks if you follow the directions
Look so great if you get them coated
More ground clearance/ tire clearance
Cons:
Have to redo your pipes
Getting to the collectors can be a pain sometimes, but If I remember right you don\'t run any innerfender wells
Dont\' have the performance of long tubes(I really don\'t think they\'ll be hardly any difference as long as you go with a big tube shorty)
Good quality= good price
Those were the first headers I ran on my v8 swap. I loved them, and they look so good. The coated shined almost as much as my polished valve covers. I will be getting a new set of coated 1 3/4\" shorties this winter. I say go for it.
BTW, whats the primaries on those long tubes?

1 5/8 primaries and 2 1/2\" collector. I have leaks like crazy after I took off the header wrap. I really want to be able to run fatter tires in the front, but I don\'t want to loose too much performance. How is their tech support? Think they can tell me if I\'ll have a problem with spark plug interference?
I already have to redo my exhaust. I have 3\" flex pipe on there now.

Not sure about their tech support, but I was having a problem with the coating. I was having a maaaaddddd oil leak, and it was leaking right on the headers. Anyhow, my coating was coming off. I think it was from the oil burning on there. I called them up, and they said just ship them back, and they\'ll take care of it. I paid like $20 to ship them back to cali, and they recoated them. Inside and out, and shipped them back for no charge. They looked brand new again. I ended up selling them on ebay for almost what I paid for them.

So I\'m looking at $800 for new exhaust? I want 1 7/8\" coated headers and 3\" ss pipes w/ h-pipe(I don\'t think an x fits) and a pair of 40 series Flows w/ dumps in front of the rear. That price sound about right?

I think they go up to 2\" and probably higher if you want.
