Does any one on here know of a site that has the actual 1/4 mile times of the cars from the 2fast2 furious movie. I have been told that none of them ran under 13 seconds, and i watched on super tuners or what ever that rice burner show is before the good stuff comes on on tnn. It show the imports all runnig 14s and up and all it would show of that nice camero was them just peeling the tires off and all they would say about it was how much they like its burn out but didnt want to tell its time. Something that makes me mad is there is a crapy game that you can play on some web site called the fast and the furious and it has all the cars from the new movie and they have the camero as being the slowest car. so if anyone has or knows of a site that has the actual times i would reall like to see it thanks a lot.

i dont even bother watching that stupid crap. it is too early in the morning for me to deal with it. those guys wouldnt know what to do if they ever got in a real car. stupid stupid stupid.............. dont get me started .

the camero should have never been on tuner show. that was a dicrace. i even wrote an email stating that fact. i also told them to show the camero spanking rice butt after $$$ for $$$ was spent. every dollar dumped into a tuner vs the same $$$ in the camero.

still no reply from them.

I don\'t know of a website but I did read it in a magazine somewhere and the fastest 1/4 mile time was like 13.9 out of a s2000 maybe. I don\'t remember which car but I\'m pretty sure on the number. I don\'t remember the magazine.

i saw in some mag, they were all slow, like 1 in the 13\'s, the other like 5 in the 14\'s, stupid slow for how fast they were supposed to be...

It might come as a shock to some people, but not everything is true that you see in the movies. I have not seen the 2nd stupid movie, but IMO a camaro with a V8 should have no problems being in the low 13s. If it has anything real done to it, then maybe 11\'s. Basically there is no replacement for dislpacement. I am not saying that 4 bangers cannot beat the snot out of a V8, but those POS ricers in the stupid movie sucked ass and would get their ass handed to them by most of us in this forum

yea thats a nice ride...but i would never in a millions years do that to an orginal yenko camaro....he has total runied that car...i would have found a non-yenko camaro and did that to it...but a 427 yenko camaro...im so upset now.. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_mad.gif

I read all the bios on the cars in the movie. All runs made on street tires, ones shown in the movie. Fastest of the imports was the S200, and that was 13.9 with a votech supercharger.



The Camaro was running low 13\'s, but would have hit mid 12\'s with traction. They didn\'t get the Mopar to test though.

you know that the import makers pay the movie producers to do that...use there cars and make them faster than the american car\'s...thtas ok....let some punk ass kick think that his honda civic with a fat muffler is going to out run my 427 big block s10...and then they can feel really bad ..knowing that they just spent 20,000 on a turd ....hey my truck my not have ac--power sterring or power brakes --heater or wipers...but it dang sure is going to put down a good et...heck im sure it would run a 13.9 in reverse....lol...

Think what you will, but some of the tuners are quicker than you think. I was at an import/truck show last weekend at a local strip.



There were many stock looking eclipses/talons in the mid 12\'s.

Even a few low 12 sec neons on slicks.



The quickest run of the day was 10.95@130 mph. Made by a 4 door, early 90\'s mitibishi Galant, on street tires.
