bfg drag radials

i just bought a piar of 235/60r15 bfg drag radials for my jimmy.ive been running street tires for years,and slicks twice.the slicks i used hooked ok but were hard circle track tires.just wondering how ill like the bfgs.

i\'m gonna get some BFG drag radials myself..but 275/60\'s I hope they hook ok. Keep me posted on your 60\' foot times.

I have heard that the drag radials hook up well as long as you dont do the water burnout before the quarter and also dont turn then to much to clean them, I geuss they are a little slippery if you turn them to much

now that i have seen the 235/60s i would have rather got the 275/50 also.they are the same height,but the slick strip on mine are only 1 inch wide.my best 60 foot was on some circle track slicks and it was a 1.774.the bfgs are stickier.

1.752 60 foot and a best of 12.495 at 107.19.do a long water burn and heat em up.i stalled to 3 grand and floored it.got a 12.51,and my rear view mirror flew off my wind shield.i guess now i need better suspension.



but they hook like a champ.

Damn, you stalled to 3k, and launched it? I\'ve got the 275/50\'s. Im hoping that if I get my truck fixed, they hook as well as your did. I guess Im gonna have to seriously try them now.

I think it also matters what track you go to and when. I have heard that some tracks put down the compound much more often and more of it which make you stick better. I go to Commerce and traction is something that it does not have, unless they just had a national event.

BTW, I forgot to ask what psi in the tires?

the lowest psi i tried was 18.but im going on the 12th and im trying 15.at 20 i was having to do too much on the burn out.even when they spun i was hittin 12.7s.



i jut my 750 dp with a proform main body,and a set of hedman full lentgth headerswith 1 5/8 primaries and 3 inch collecters.and a holley 110 gallon per hour fuel pump.im hoping for an 11.but we will see.

I upgraded my 650 with that 750 Proform main body. I love that thing.

so what should i run if i had a 2.236 60 foot time and a 12.887 @ 113.85 mph if i was the BFG drag radials?? also, i started in 2nd to try and keep spinnin as much.....

i would like to say 11s.ive ran a best mph of 107.7,and i think it was a 12.50.my best 60 foot time was like a 1.703.
